Hello all,My name is Andrew Firmin, I live in Fort Yukon with my 10 month old son and partner. I am a full-time emlyopee with the Council of Athabascan Tribal Governments Natural Resources Dept. I gave up a career of 15 years in construction and decided to go back to school to continue my education. When I got into construction it was so I would have a good job in the summer when I wasn't going to school and 1 day I woke up and found I was doing more paperwork then having the actual satisfaction of being on the tools building something. So I decided it was time for a change of scenery. I am enrolled in the Tribal Management Program focusing on Natural Resource Management. I volunteer my time working with Fish & Wildlife issues as an advocate for my employer and Fort Yukon's Tribal Government (GZGTG) as well as serving on various local, state, and international boards, councils, & panels.
