Gateway Considerations in Transition Conditions

In the properties of a gateway, consider the following in their transition conditions:

Image:Business_Rules10_Bullet001.gif Exclusive Gateway (divergent element): the user may associate a rule and an ELSE.

Image:Business_Rules10_Bullet001.gif Inclusive Gateway: the user may associate rules to all outgoing transitions. There should be at least one valid path for each case, otherwise a transition associated with an ELSE is recommended

Image:Business_Rules10_Bullet001.gif Exclusive Gateway (convergent element): the user can associate business rules with all outgoing transitions. All the rules should be exclusive.
