Example: Add an On Enter Action to an Activity
In a Loan Request process, after the customer has entered some basic information the pre-approved amount that can be lent to the customer may be calculated and then presented in the next activity. In the case of this process the pre-approved amount will be calculated using an On Enter action in the activity Register Complimentary Information.
To do add an On Enter action follow these steps:
1. In the Process Wizard, go to the Fourth Step: Activity Actions.
2. In the Process, select the Shape of the process where you would like the action to be carried out.
A new window will be displayed.
On the Activity Actions window, click on and then click on
. Then select the type of action that is needed, for this example the option Expression should be selected.
3. The rule (created or selected) to calculate the pre-approval amount looks as follows:
The expression Subtract Total Expenditure looks as follows: |
The expression Obtain Pre-approval Factor has the following: |
The expression Calculate Pre-approved Amount looks as follows: |
Press Ok to save the rule and then Ok again in the process to save the On Enter Expression.
